Police and other emergency services were called to the scene where the lorry and its empty container had come off the road about one mile east of Narborough at noon.
The driver was reported to have minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
No other vehicle was involved, police said, and the road had not been closed as a result. The lorry was righted and finally recovered at 4.23pm.
