EIGHT members of staff at Swaffham firm Mansell have received long service awards, clocking a combined total of 205 years.During that time the staff have been involved in a huge variety of projects including works at RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall as well as schools across the county and a variety of community projects such as Swaffham Primary Care Centre and Hamond's High School.
EIGHT members of staff at Swaffham firm Mansell have received long service awards, clocking a combined total of 205 years.
During that time the staff have been involved in a huge variety of projects including works at RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall as well as schools across the county and a variety of community projects such as Swaffham Primary Care Centre and Hamond's High School.
Site manager Michael Cooling, who joined the company as an apprentice carpenter, said: “Mansell has given me opportunities beyond my original expectations. I enjoy the whole construction experience and why move companies, when you're happy where you are!”
Dean Burgess, regional managing director said: “There is tremendous loyalty within the Mansell team. Long serving members of staff are a testimony to 'Mansell Culture' and demonstrates a happy and committed workforce within the region. This is no doubt a major factor in the success of our business over the last 100 years.”
