APIECE of land which featured in the TV series Kingdom has gone up for sale with a price tag of £300,000.
The 0.19 acre site at the back of Swaffham's Greyhound pub, known as the Startled Duck in the fictional hit, has
been earmarked for a small housing development which will include three two-bedroom cottages and a converted barn.
Existing outbuildings on the site are set to be knocked down, except for a barn
which already has planning permission to be converted into a three-bedroom
dwelling.
Lucy McNamara, commercial agent at Brown & Co, the agency which manages the sale, said the plot is ideally located and expected to attract interest.
The land is on the market for another month. However, if it is not sold beforehand it will be included in Brown & Co's forthcoming property auction at the Maid's Head in Norwich on March 27.
Details from Lucy McNamara on 01603629 871.
