Can you offer a hen a home?
An animal charity volunteer is hoping to have her most successful rehoming event.
Vicky Sewell helps with Fresh Start for Hens which works with farmers to rehome hens which have reached the end of their production use.
The charity is set to rehome 5,000 across the country and Mrs Sewell, who runs one of two collection points in Norfolk, will hope to rehome 300.
Mrs Sewell, who lives in Woodrising, near Watton, has said so far more than 200 hens have guaranteed homes as pets.
But there are still more hens which will be waiting to be picked up during the rehoming event on March 10.
People must register their interest before March 4.
There is a £2 donation per hen and photographs of the secure place the hens will be living must be provided.
