CHILDREN are happy and secure at a Swaffham pre-school playgroup, according to government inspectors in their latest report.
The report on the Windmill Children's Centre, attached to Swaffham primary school on White Cross Road, says the children are happy and secure because of the positive relationships established with parents and the staffs' attention to children's individual needs.
The youngsters enjoy a varied range of stimulating activities, helping them to develop and learning is well-supported overall.
The Ofsted report says there are effective arrangements in place to safeguard children and promote their health and safety, including links with other professional agencies.

The school setting provides an inclusive service, valuing all children as individuals and welcoming families from different backgrounds.
Future improvements could be made, says the report, in planning to ensure experiences are appropriate to each child's stage of development to more effectively assist their progress towards early learning goals. Inspectors would also like to see a system in place to foster parental contributions to their child's profile at the outset and during their time at the school.
