A DEVELOPMENT of 14 new four and five bedroom homes in Watton has been given the green light.
Breckland Council's Development Control Committee voted through the development, in Norwich Road, on Monday .
The application was met with no objections from Watton Town Council, but attracted concerns from residents about traffic levels and impact on the area's character. It follows from an earlier application in April last year that was withdrawn because of objections in relation to planning policy.
Watton councillor Claire Bowes said: 'It is good to see well-designed hoses being built in Watton. They replicate the period houses that are around the area.'
