UP-and-coming Norfolk bands are preparing to take the stage at a series of gigs showcasing the region's musical talent.
UP-and-coming Norfolk bands are preparing to take the stage at a series of gigs showcasing the region's musical talent.
The Launchpad events will provide both new and established bands the chance to perform with full technical support, sound, lighting and promotion arranged by Norfolk Music Works (NMW).
They will be held at:
Hunstanton Town Hall on Saturday November 7 at 7pm
Fakenham Community Centre on Saturday November 14 at 7pm
Swaffham Assembly Hall on Saturday November 21 at 8pm
A spokesman for NMW said: 'With music genres ranging from folk, grunge, indie, rock and pop, this is a really great opportunity to hear the breadth of musical tastes and ability within the region.
'It is a must for anyone interested in supporting up and coming talent and looking for a good night out.'
Up to seven bands will perform at each venue, with the line-up at Swaffham set to include:
Recovered
Near Death Experience
Hammar
Under the Influence
Stark Contrast
Super Action Heroes
Don't Spook the Horse
All events are alcohol and smoking free and are suitable under-18s. Tickets costing �2.50 (or �6 for all three nights) are available on the door or from Norfolk Music Works on 01485 609009.
