Former Necton dancer lands touring role
A NORFOLK dancer has been chosen for a role in a leading musical theatre group currently performing show-stopping songs across the UK.Former Necton girl Lisa Collier has joined the four-piece band Back to Broadway who find inspirations from musical such as Grease, Joseph, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, The Lion King, Wicked or Phantom of the Opera.

Former Necton girl Lisa Collier has joined the four-piece band Back to Broadway who find inspirations from musical such as Grease, Joseph, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, The Lion King, Wicked or Phantom of the Opera.
The 20-year- old trained at Just Dance in Swaffham, Busybodies stage school in Dereham, and Footlights dance centre in King's Lynn before moving to London to study.
“I am thrilled to be part of the Back to Broadway cast,” said Lisa, who rates Ruthie Henshall and Lea Salonga among her idols.

“I get to perform many songs from some of the greatest musicals. I thoroughly enjoy the variety of the show which offers something for all ages.”
Lisa, a former Litcham High School pupil, completed the London Studio Centre's three-year foundation degree course in Musical Theatre and Dance Studies.

“Musical theatre has incredible power over the audience. The live atmosphere takes you through all manner of emotions, portrayed by song and dance.
“I love performing on the stage singing and dancing - it gives me such a buzz.”
Lisa has been performing since she was three years old, and regularly appeared with her mother and older sisters at their local amateur dramatic society as a youngster.
Back to Broadway is performing 23 dates on their UK tour. Each show raises money for the registered charity Children with Leukaemia.
