A man died early yesterday morning when his car was involved in a road crash.
Police and fire fighters were called to the collision at Hilborough at about 3.20am.
A blue Skoda Fabia and a red Vauxhall Vectra had crashed on the A1065 about one kilometre north of the junction with the B1108.
The driver of the Vauxhall Vectra, a man believed to be a Polish national, died and police are in the process of contacting his next of kin.
The female driver of the Skoda was taken to hospital with injuries sustained in the crash.
