Residents in Swaffham are being encouraged to attend a meeting which could help to decide the future development of the town.

The meeting will be aimed at gathering feedback on the development of a community-led Neighbourhood Plan, which will help influence and control the way the town changes over the next 20 years.

The chairman of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, Colin Houghton, said: 'We are seeking as much input as possible from all age groups at our consultation events.

'There will be lots of information and ideas to discuss and view. Town Councillors and interested residents already involved will be there to talk to and explain things. Don't miss your opportunity to have your say on the ideas that are being considered for the plan. We love our town and want to keep it fit for the future.'

Two events will be held at the Assembly Rooms in the Marketplace, between 10am and 3pm on April 14 and between 5pm and 7pm on April 17.
