Police are appealing for witnesses after a car left the road and hit a tree on the A47 near Swaffham.
The red Vauxhall Astra was heading towards King's Lynn when the crash happened on the single carriageway, near to the McDonalds roundabout, at 6.25am today.
There were rush hour tailbacks and the road was blocked for nearly two hours.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called, but the driver was not hurt.
