Brownies learn about China
BROWNIES in Watton have been learning about China.
BROWNIES in Watton have been learning about China.
The 2nd Watton (RAF) group were joined by Mr Lee from the Goldon Lantern in Watton as they tried Chiene food, and played a game of 'lame chicken', a traditional game which Chinese Brownies play.
The pack is celebrating the Centenary this year and the Adventure 100 is the Centenary Challenge, where Brownies participate in different activities to gain points.
The Chinese event took place as part of Thinging day, where the girls thinks about Brownies and Guides around the world. The 2nd Watton (RAF) group chose China as it coincides with the Chinese New Year of the tiger.
Anyone interested in their daughter joining the group, which meets on Thursdays in term time at 6.15pm, can call Margaret on 01953 882992.
