Police went to help recover a broken down car - but ended up seizing the vehicle because the driver had no insurance.

Officers were called to the broken down light blue Mazda on A1075 at the Ovington bends, near Watton, on Saturday, February 3.

However Breckland Police Tweeted afterwards: “We stopped to assist but recovered the vehicle in a different way than expected.”

They added that there were “small delays on the road” but thanked motorists for their patience.
