A district councillor and beekeeper is asking constituents to help save our bees.
As Bees' Needs Week comes to an end, Swaffham ward Breckland councillor Ian Sherwood wants people to keep an eye out for any Asian hornets they may see.
The invasive non-native species from Asia is a highly effective predator of insects, including honey bees.

A new mobile phone app has been launched to help people report any possible sightings and Mr Sherwood will also leave some identification cards in Swaffham library.
He said: "As a beekeeper I know just how much people care about bees and native pollinators and this is a positive way anyone can help save our bees. "They can simply download the 'Asian Hornet Watch' app and if they see a hornet take a photo with their phone and send the details."
He is happy to give talks on bees and beekeeping to groups in the area.
