Arsonists torch parked lorry

Arsonists are being blamed for starting a fire which ripped through a lorry parked in Watton.

Two fire crews were at Town Green Road for more than an hour tackling the fire, which started at about 6.

Arsonists are being blamed for starting a fire which ripped through a lorry parked in Watton.

Two fire crews were at Town Green Road for more than an hour tackling the fire, which started at about 6.15pm on Wednesday.

There were initial reports that gas cylinders were contained in the vehicle, but that turned out to be wrong.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
