ST John Ambulance Norfolk wants to put up a car port to house its new ambulance in Swaffham.
The organisation has applied to Breckland Council for planning permission for a car port made of galvanised steel near St John Hall, St John Court, London Road.
The car port would protect the new ambulance from damage caused by the weather.
Previously there was a very old and decrepit car port attached to the back of St John Hall.
