Crews have spent today damping down the remains of a large straw stack, which caught fire last night at Litcham, near Swaffham.
At the height of the blaze 10 pumps and a water carrier were on the scene north of Hall Farm, on Lexham Road.
The fire is believed to have started when a bale caught alight in a baling machine, at around 6.40pm.
It set light to a stubble field, before strong winds spread the flames to the stacks. Gusty conditions also hampered efforts to fight the fire.
Four larege straw stacks, containing around 2,000 bales were destroyed in the fire.
