Trustees, volunteers, staff, students and supporters celebrated the Garden Science Trust's successful first year at Swaffham's Ecotech Centre yesterday.
The group's achievements went on show along with science demonstrations and an open garden session for people to see what has been done at the centre.
Volunteers from the gardening group and students with learning difficulties complete 'garden science' courses at the centre and talked to people about their work.
They also launched a Friends of the Garden Science Trust scheme, giving people an opportunity to support the group and receive newsletters, gardening tips, discounts and prizes.
The Garden Science Trust uses gardening and science to help people with learning difficulties or other barriers to education and training to develop skills and reach their potential.
