A scheme for 51 homes off land in Castle Acre Road in Swaffham is due to be submitted to planners.

Abel Homes, the developer behind the scheme, took the plans to Swaffham Town Council last Wednesday night at their full council meeting, Jamie Bird, from the firm, said a planning application is due to be submitted to Breckland Council soon.

Town councillors highlighted to Mr Bird problems with surface water drainage in that part of town and he assured them that the company had been in talks with Anglian Water and the Environment Agency over drainage issues.

Affordable homes were also discussed. The plans will be available to view at Breckland Council's offices in Dereham once they have been submitted.
