Bin collections will begin earlier in parts of Norfolk this week due to the high temperatures.
Councils across the county have announced earlier start times for collections due to high temperatures being forecast.
Breckland Council, Norwich City Council, and South Norfolk & Broadland Council's crews are set to begin rounds at 6am instead of the usual 6.30am.
North Norfolk District Council and King’s Lynn & West Norfolk Borough Council have advised that crews will be out slightly earlier than usual.
It comes amid a yellow heat health alert that has been issued for the region.
The alert, announced by the UK Health Security Agency, is in place from 9am on Tuesday (July 28) until 9am on Friday (July 31).
Temperatures will top the 30C mark in parts of Norfolk during the alert.
Thetford will see a peak of 33C on Wednesday (July 29), while Norwich will see highs of 32C on the same day.
Sheringham on the north Norfolk coast will peak at 28C with Great Yarmouth a degree warmer at 29C, also both on Wednesday.
Attleborough will also see a high of 33C on Wednesday, as will Downham Market.
The change is intended to help crews work more safely in the heat.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council are yet to announce any changes.
