From a major health food chain shutting down to a long‑standing chippy frying its last meal, these are the Norfolk businesses that closed for good last month.
Holland & Barrett
Where: Wrights Walk, Dereham
Holland & Barrett in Wrights Walk, Dereham, shut its doors for the last time on May 20.
It comes amid an ongoing £70 million investment to "transform" the health food brand's stores.
The investment will include opening and renovating over 200 new locations across the UK.
Adnams
Where: Unthank Road, Norwich
Adnams, in Unthank Road, shut its doors for the last time on Saturday, May 30.
It follows the closure of its Westlegate branch in the city centre last September and officially marks the end of the Suffolk-based brewery’s high street presence in Norwich.
The Market Plaice Chippy
Where: Market Place, North Walsham
The Market Plaice Chippy in Market Place, North Walsham, shut in May.
It cited "increasing cost of energy and products" as the reason for the difficult decision.
In a post, the team said: "Hi all, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you the Market Place Chippy is closing its doors.
"We would like to thank all of our customers and staff for their support."
It was recently announced that Will’s Plaice, based in East Runton and serving customers since May 2006, will take over the former chippy.
