From adult-only sites to a spot near a lighthouse in north Norfolk, here are five campsites in the county that have been named among the best in the country.
1. The Old Brick Kilns
Where: Little Barney Lane, Barney, Fakenham, NR21 0NL
The Old Brick Kilns in Barney, near Fakenham, was named among the best campsites in the country by Practical Caravan earlier this year.
The judges praised the range of facilities at the site, which spans 13 acres of countryside, including the "spacious pitches and five washroom blocks".
The publication also said guests should "enjoy a visit to the campsite’s bird hide or the wildlife pond to catch a glimpse of the varied wildlife living there".
2. Pinecones Caravan and Camping
Where: A149 Dersingham by pass, King's Lynn, PE31 6WL
Pinecones Caravan and Camping in Dersingham was also praised by Practical Caravan.
The site was applauded for its proximity to picturesque daytrips such as the Sandringham Visitor Centre and the Snettisham coast.
There is a range of pitch types to choose from at the site, including hardstanding fully serviced pitches with 16-amp electric hook-ups and picnic huts.
3. Galley Hill Farm
Where: Langham Road, Blakeney, NR25 7PR
Outdoor experts at GO Outdoors named Galley Hill Farm, just a mile away from Blakeney Quay, as among the cheapest and best camp sites in the UK.
A three-night stay costs £60.
The experts looked at factors such as the average temperature in the summer months, whether there are any onsite shops, the percentage of people who would recommend staying at the campsite and the number of outdoor activities within six miles of the campsite.
4. Gatton Waters Caravan Park
Where: Lynn Road, King’s Lynn, PE31 6BZ
Gatton Waters Caravan Park, near King's Lynn, won the title of Best Adult-Only Site in East England and National Runner Up of Best Adult-Only Site in last year's Camping and Glamping Awards.
It is an adult-only campsite and coarse fishery which sits just a five-minute drive from Sandringham.
The golden sands of Snettisham beach are also close by.
5. Manor Caravan Park
Where: North Walsham Road, Happisburgh, NR12 0AN
Manor Caravan Park in Happisburgh was named as the best caravan park in the region at last year's Camping and Glamping Awards.
The site hosts 130 caravans and sits in the shadow of the Happisburgh Lighthouse.
It focuses on clean modern facilities and a peaceful atmosphere rather than entertainment, making it a good base for the coast and Broads trips rather than a resort-style holiday.
