A total of 12 Indian restaurants across Norfolk have reached the finals of a new award.
Oceanic Awards has announced the shortlist for the first Southern Curry Awards 2026.
These awards follow the success of Oceanic’s flagship Curry Awards over the past 15 years.

Restaurants, takeaways and industry personalities who have helped shape Southern England’s curry scene will be recognised when the winners are announced later this year.
"We look forward to once again celebrating the finest in the curry scene, recognising the creativity, innovation and exceptional service that have become synonymous with this beloved cuisine," Irfan Younis, spokesman for the first Southern Curry Awards 2026, said.
In Norfolk, the finalists include Savoy Tandoori, Misha and Planet Spice in Great Yarmouth, Downham Tandoori Restaurant in Downham Market and New Saffron Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in Thetford.
Rani’s Indian Dining in Yaxham joins the shortlist alongside Spice Fusion in nearby Dereham and the Goa in Diss.
The shortlist also includes Dhaba at 15, Namaste Village, Ali Tandoori and The Merchants of Spice in Norwich.
