A local estate agency is opening a new office in a Norfolk town this month.
The Norfolk Agents is opening its fourth branch in Swaffham's Market Place after selling a number of properties in the town and surrounding villages over the last few years.
Shane Ballard, one of the company’s three owners, said: "The town offers so much and the location is really accessible for getting around the county.
"The amount of new homes built in the town over the last few years demonstrates how much appetite there is for local families to buy in the area."
The Norfolk Agents is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year after starting out in 2016 from a small office in Fakenham as a hybrid estate agency.
The Swaffham office becomes its fourth branch following the firm's acquisition of Geoffrey Collings & Co. in 2024, which added offices in King’s Lynn and Dersingham.
Co-owner Laura Robinson has overseen the refurbishment of the building over the last month.
"I’ve spent a lot of time in the town over the years and I know that there is a great community here," she said.
"Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming while we’ve been working on the office. We’ve had members of the public showing a real interest in what we’re doing and no end of local businesses have popped in to wish us luck."
Co-owner Ross Nicholas added: "We’ve had plenty of success in the area in the past and we’re all hoping that by having a permanent presence in the town, we will be able to offer house sellers in Swaffham something a bit different.
"Our core values remain the same wherever we go, with first-class customer service and great value for money at the forefront of everything we do."
