The Central and South Norfolk League sponsored by Barnes Print got under way on Saturday with 17 fixtures being played across the four Divisions.
In Division One newly promoted Longham started their first season in the top flight with a 4-1 win at Hethersett Athletic.
Shipdham beat Sporle by the odd goal of seven and Mulbarton Wanderers A beat Hethersett Athletic OB 2-0.
In Division Two Brandon Town Res were the highest scorers, beating Bridgham Utd 6-4. League newcomers Mundford Exiles won 3-1 at Tacolneston Res. Bar 33 beat Dussindale Rovers Res 2-1 and Yaxham and Dereham Taverners Res shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw.
There were two high scoring games in Division 3 East. In a match between two league newcomers, Hockering Res emphatically came out on top with a 7-0 home win over Bacton. Morley Village Res enjoyed a 9-2 win over Home Care Utd. In Division 3 West Cockers beat Yaxham Res 2-1.
