A SPECIAL slideshow is set to bring the Swaffham of yesteryear back to life for an evening.
Over 200 glass magic lantern slides, which lay hidden in Swaffham Museum's archives for more than 20 years after they were discovered in a church vestry, have now been digitised by two members of the Swaffham History Group.
The slides feature pictures of Swaffham in the 1930s and scouts during what appears to be a jamboree.
They were probably taken by the then curate Barry Brown and, though some had details attached, the details of others remain unknown.
The show will take place at the Assembly Rooms, Market Place, on Tuesday, December 15, and begins at 7.30pm.
