Thetford Rugby Club are hosting their second Help for Heroes charity day on Saturday, May 8.Last year the club raised in excess of �4,000 - and they are hoping to raise twice that amount this time around with an expanded event.
Thetford Rugby Club are hosting their second Help for Heroes charity day on Saturday, May 8.
Last year the club raised in excess of �4,000 - and they are hoping to raise twice that amount this time around with an expanded event.
The day will comprise a match play tournament at Thetford Golf club, followed by football match at Thetford Town's Mundford Road ground and finally an exhibition rugby match between the RAF and a Thetford Presidents' select at 3pm.
Presentations will be held for all events at Thetford Rugby Club at 6pm.
The event has been supported by a number of local businesses as well as Northampton Saints, Saracens and London Irish.
