Police are urging Swaffham residents to be vigilant after a handbag and wallet were stolen in the town.
The first theft took place at The Pightle between 9.30am and 9.55am on Tuesday, September 9 when a handbag containing a purse, building society book and card and bus pass were taken.
On Saturday September 20 between 2.30pm and 3pm a wallet was stolen from a man's trouser pocket while he was shopping at a supermarket in Lynn Street.
Last night police urged members of the public to keep handbags and wallets safe and not to leave belongings unattended on shopping trolleys or baskets.
