Tickets to Norfolk Tulips near King's Lynn sold out within hours this week.

But the county is home to plenty of other flower fields to keep your Instagram looking colourful.

Here is a round-up of some of the best for 2024.

1. Ha Ha Farm

Where: Hemblington Road, Strumpshaw, NR13 4AH

When: Selected dates in August 2024

The Ha Ha Farm sunflower field will be double its normal size to meet demand this summer and two new events have been announced.

Between 5pm and 9pm from August 1 to August 3 and August 8 to August 10, local street food and drink vendors and live musicians will attend the Sunflower Sundowner series.

Tickets are £10 for over 18s and £5 for ages five to 18 while under 5s go free. 

Later on August 18, The Sunflower Golden Hour Dinner will be held.

For £85 each, visitors can enjoy a welcome drink, canapés, a three-course meal and live music - all surrounded by sunflowers.  

2. Grange Farm

Where: Burdock Lane, Hockwold, IP26 4JN

In previous years, the path has been arranged to create a fun shape.

Events such as pizza nights and sunflower workshops have also been held in the past.

3. The Garden Retreat

Where: Old Buckenham Country Park, Doe Lane, Old Buckenham, NR17 1PP 

When: 10am to 2pm on Wednesdays and Sundays from June to October

Jessica Ward and her mum Claire Hornby opened The Old Buckenham Gardening Retreat at Old Buckenham Country Park, near Attleborough, in the summer of 2022.

The location is home to around 40 different varieties of flowers and visitors can browse and pick their own bouquets.

They can choose between medium or large bouquets and children can also fill a jam jar with flowers.

4. Westgate Farm

Where: Westgate Farm, Great Walsingham, NR22 6DY

When: Dates to be confirmed

For more than two weeks each year, 20 acres of Westgate Farm is transformed into a vibrant sunflower field.

It will be back and offering the chance to pick your own sunflowers this year.

5. Norfolk Lavender 

Where: Caley Mill, Heacham, King’s Lynn, PE31 7JE

When: Best in the summer months

The Norfolk Lavender collection is grown in collaboration with Plant Heritage.

More than 100 different varieties can be found at the site in west Norfolk.

The gift shop and farm shops are open already but if you want to see the lavender the summer months between June and August are the peak season to go.
