Archant

The NR F1 Podcast – recorded in the county that gave the world Team Lotus, Martin Brundle and a training ground to the likes of Ayrton Senna and Mark Webber – brings you its 2017 Russian Formula 1 Grand Prix Preview.

From Russia with love – that wasn’t quite how it worked when a couple of Sochi shunts in 2016 ultimately cost Daniil Kvyat his Red Bull drive.

So it’s fair to say given the way the Russian driver has managed to arrest his 2016 decline and get his career back on track, he deserves to land a bit more luck at his home race this time around, now in a Toro Rosso.

Edition 157 of The NR F1 Podcast previews round four of the 2017 Formula 1 championship, asks how much we will see of Vladimir Putin this year – and whether the Sochi track is even capable of putting on a half-decent race.

The NR F1 Podcast gets together in Norwich to send Norfolk’s views on the latest Formula 1 action out across the world.

From Team Lotus to Snetterton, Martin Brundle to the racing development of Ayrton Senna, Mark Webber, Johnny Herbert and more, Norfolk knows F1 – and wants to discuss it with you.

Over the coming week, the pod will also preview the 2017 Russian Grand Prix, bring you their predictions for the action in Sochi and take on the 2017 Global F1 Fans Survey.
