It’s a question which has divided the people of East Anglia for years.

Which is better - Norfolk or Suffolk?

But now, thanks to the team at TalkSPORTDrive, we may finally have an answer to the age old debate.

Following the reveal of plans for a Norfolk Day on Friday, July 27 the team at talkSPORTDrive put up a poll on Twitter asking people to vote for the better county.

More than 3,000 people took part in the poll with the final result finding Norfolk to be the public’s favourite.

Norfolk garnered 60pc of the vote, with Suffolk getting 40pc.

Many people took the time to respond to the poll.

Simon Hird tweeted: “Lotus come from Norfolk so no contest.”

Tim Rudge commented: “Norfolk every day of the week.”

While Ian Wallbank wrote: “How can it not be Suffolk? The football club always has been and always will be the pride of Anglia.”

Controversially, Sue Read had a dilemma on her hands when voting. She said: “Bit of a problem here. I live in and love the Waveney Valley in north Suffolk, but like many locals support NCFC. So I would have to say Suffolk, but Norwich has by far the better football club.”
