Fire crews from Kings Lynn were called to the rescue of a swan trapped in a wall in Narborough.

A spokesman for the fire service confirmed that a fire officer attended the scene to give assistance and advice with the rescue to the RSPCA.

He added that crews were mobilised but weren’t needed, as rescuers on the scene simply “reached over and lifted the swan out”, using small gear.
