Residents across Norfolk will be given the chance to quiz Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable.

PCC Lorne Green and chief constable Simon Bailey will be hosting a series question and answer sessions across the county throughout the year.

The sessions are an opportunity for people to share views, issues and concerns about policing in the area.

Last year Mr Green held seven Public Accountability Forum (PAF) meetings with the chief constable followed by a public quest and answer session.

Mr Green said: “For 2018, I’ve decided to split the two events, ensuring that, for the Q&A sessions, there is a real emphasis on the local policing and crime picture and the issues affecting people living and working in the area.

“Last year, the Norfolk public really bought into the Q&A style-events and welcomed the opportunity to have face-to-face access to the chief constable and myself.

“Great discussion of crime and policing concerns was had, fuelled by lots of varied and, at times, challenging questions.”

The first session will be held on Wednesday, March 7 from 6pm at The Queens Hall in Watton.
