A well-known Norfolk principal will head up four academies in a new executive role.

Gee Cook, who is currently executive principal in west Norfolk for the Academy Transformation Trust (ATT), has been announced as the new executive principal of Norfolk Academies, run by the Transforming Education in Norfolk (TEN) Group.

Under the new role, which she will start in January 1, she will oversee Attleborough Academy, Fakenham Academy, Wayland Academy in Watton, Wayland Junior Academy, also in Watton, and University Technical College in Norwich.

Ms Cook, who was formerly principal at Iceni Academy in Methwold, said: “I am delighted to be joining the TEN Group and look forward to working with all partners and stakeholders to establish academies that are focused on aspiration, innovation, achievement and community enrichment.”

Dick Palmer, chief executive of the TEN Group said the trust would benefit from Ms Cook’s leadership and vision.
