Gritters on standby as temperatures drop to 1C

Norfolk’s gritters are on standby as the Winter weather moves into the county.

Rain should move away to the east tonight with the possibility of mist and foggy patches across Norfolk.

Norfolk County Council has said that its gritters are on standby to go out to “all areas of the county except the north coast and Norwich”.

Temperatures are expected to drop to one degrees tonight with it expected to stay dry throughout the next day.

Although dry the highest temperature expected tomorrow is about 9C.
