Crews from Swaffham and Watton were called to the fire in North Pickenham Road at 12.36am today, Monday June 26, and used hose reel jets before declaring the incident over at 3.20am.

The stack covered a 10m by 10m area and was one metre high, and firefighters said about a quarter of it caught alight.

They told police they believed it was started deliberately at 1.39am.
