An open day at a Breckland leisure centre will be held to enable residents to see the variety of activities available for people to use.

Breckland Leisure Centre & Waterworld in Thetford, which is operated by Parkwood Leisure on behalf of the district council, will be holding the event on Saturday.

Throughout the day taster classes showcasing the variety of exercise classes available to members and non-members will be on offer.

It will also offer people a chance to see the facility’s new gym extension, which has seen more equipment available and the introduction of a functional training zone.

Various groups and clubs will be present during the day to demonstrate and encourage visitors to the centre to try something new and perhaps find a new activity to take up further.

The event will run from 9am until 6pm.

A timetable of events and activities will be posted on the Breckland Leisure Centre & Waterworld Facebook.
