A property has been closed down by police due to ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour.

The property in Buttercup Drive in Swaffham is subject to a closure order which was granted at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Police have been working alongside partner agencies including the Saffron Housing Trust to address ongoing concerns around the issues at the address. 

The closure order has been granted for a period of three months making it a criminal offence for anyone except certain named individuals and agencies to be inside the property.

Inspector Simon Jones said: "The work conducted by the Breckland Operational Partnership team in managing and ultimately closing down this problematic address underlines how Norfolk Constabulary and our partners deal with anti-social behaviour that affects the quality of life of others.

"The work conducted by PC Cooper and the Breckland North Safer Neighbourhood Team will have a lasting positive impact on other residents within Buttercup Drive."
