The major attention was on the fifth round of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup, the Crown Fire Central and South Norfolk League's premier cup competition.
Only one team from Division One made it through to the last four to guarantee that there will be at least one team from outside the top division contesting the final on May Day Bank Holiday morning.

Broadlands travelled to Swaffham today for a Woodfordes Merit Div 2 match, and found themselves perfectly matched against Swaffham's 2nd XV.
An unmoveable force met an unmoveable object as both sides struggled and fought hard in what proved to be an excellent spectators game, with territory and posession bouncing back and forth throughout the game.
New recruit for Watton RFC

Watton RFC's Red and Black Army signed a new recruit this week.
It has always been a struggle to get volunteers to help run the canteen whilst second team games are on.

WATTON Rugby Club U6 and U7s travelled to Dereham for the eagerly-awaited tag rugby matches.
Both games were very competitive and played in the right spirit.

Swaffham U13 12, Spalding 41
Swaffham U13 took the game to Spalding when the two teams met on Sunday.
Swaffham had some great possession early on, and despite putting a determined Spalding team under pressure they failed to capitalise on this.
